From April 2016 onwards, the southern island of Kyushu in the Japanese archipelago has been experiencing a number of large earthquakes, which have sadly caused loss of life, numerous injuries and damage to property across a wide area centering on Kumamoto. Tamiya wishes the disaster-hit area a speedy recovery, and in the spirit of our ongoing partnership with Kumamoto mascot Kumamon, Tamiya has released this charity model, with profits being donated to Kumamoto Prefecture. The model runs on the aerodynamically efficient mid-ship MA Chassis.
