The GERSpeed Steel Oil Pan Conversion for the MQB 1.8T and 2.0T platform is the perfect solution for getting replacing that fragile and prone to leaking factory plastic sump. It is easy to install and comes with everything you needed for a quick and easy DIY project that takes less than an hour to complete.
Our steel pan kit uses exclusively European sourced components including genuine new installation hardware from VW/Audi. No shortcuts were taken and our kit is covered by a lifetime replacement guarantee for any defects of failure not caused by outside influence.
Besides being significantly stronger than the factory pan, our kit also comes with another benefit – a decrease in engine oil temperate and overall operating temps. Our steel pan acts as a sort of heat sink, conducting heat away from the motor and dissipating it into the ambient air passing along its surface while driving. We have measured oil temperature drops of over 10 degrees Fahrenheit in back to back testing. All GERSpeed oil pan kits are put together in-house.
